Monocle 24 radio, 'The Entrepreneurs'
"A glance at any airport lounge reveals one thing: travelling with children can be onerous. The sheer amount of apparatus parents have in tow can resemble a military manoeuvre, and arriving at a foreign destination with a child often throws up hurdles hotels can't manage. These are all observations travel journalist Sevil Delin made when she had a child. She found that on trips even the most exclusive hotels often lacked the wherewithal to cater for children. That's where the idea for her business, Hotel Momcierge, came. Delin's model provides concierge services for parents in her hometown of Istanbul. The services are aimed at business clients too: mothers travelling with children. Sophie Grove met up with Sevil at her home in Cihangir to find out more."
