The Black Sea to the north of Istanbul boasts a sandy beach and clean water for swimming. Dalia Beach is one of the best places to go to enjoy a day by the seashore. Kids can also play soccer on the grassy knoll above the beach. The restaurant serves meze and fresh fish with raki and wine for the grown ups. You can also head into the hills for a walk overlooking the sea. Also great on cooler days for a picnic in the fresh air.
